April CCW Training
Hey Dave,
Just a note to say thanks from Melinda & me. We had a great time at the private CCW class. I was expecting a real good class after meeting you but this went beyond our expectations by far. I came in thinking I knew most stuff but I came away with a whole new perspective & view. I had not looked at or even thought about several areas that you brought up and covered thoroughly. We feel confident and well informed now. I would highly recommend this class to anyone and we plan on taking more of your courses. Also thank you for the training and advise that you gave my daughter that one day. I know you didn’t have to but yopu did and we very much appreciate that. Once again it is Hammer Stryke going above and beyond what they have to.

Mar 17th, 2012 NRA Range Safety Officer Certification
Just wanted to thank you and John again for the great class. I realize that it’s a super compact format and really hard to cover even half of what an RSO needs to know but I felt like I learned a ton and will continue that. Of special interest to me was the malfunction / stoppage section with the actual firearms. I’ve never seen most of those firearms and it encouraged me to keep learning about firearm mechanics. I felt like I knew US Military firearms pretty thoroughly and was humbled at how little I knew about the foreign models you had there.
It was great to get some hands on experience with those different types of firearms and I’d feel a lot more comfortable helping a shooter with a malfunction on those type of arms. Definitely a lot left to learn though. – Weston Waterson

Dec 11th Personal Protection in the Home Class
Dave: I want to personally thank you and the two Johns for the outstanding training I attended today. Your presentation, knowledge and
technical expertise made this class hit home with me as to not only how much I didn’t know, and how poorly I was able to perform in the scenarios at the range. Shooting the bad guy between the knees isn’t going to help me much at all.
You guys are a great bunch of people, and I see the dedication in you to what you do and the passion you have to teach the people in your classes all this so very important information. My eyes were opened very wide and I’ll be thinking of these things for a long time to come. I’ll also be spending a lot more time at the range practicing what I need to know. All thanks to whet I was shown today.
Please keep me informed as to upcoming classes and events so I can participate, and keep the learning curve alive.

Nov 6th, 2011 NRA Personal Protection in the Home Class
As an adrenaline state self-defense instructor I truly appreciated the the Personal Protection in the Home training. The lecture portions on legal issues, emotional aftermath of shooting someone, best types of personal safety guns, purchasing a gun, making your home safer, defensive confrontations & marksmanship, cover & concealment greatly enhanced my knowledge base.
The training with laser practice guns and at the shooting range was much more realistic than target shooting at a range. Rapid fire shooting, shooting from the hip or belly and shooting from cover even created an “adrenalized” state or “stress training” learning environment which is an ideal environment for learning self defense. This will definitely lessen a natural “freeze” response I may have in a real-life attack situation when I may need to use a loaded gun to defend myself.
They did an excellent job of reinforcing the use of a loaded gun to protect yourself or you loved ones as a LAST RESORT and clearly explained all the ramifications of such use.
I highly recommend this training course to anyone who is considering using a pistol or handgun for personal protection in the home or who already has a handgun but may not have had adrenaline-state training to help them use the weapon calmly, confidently and effectively when necessary.

Hammer Stryke, You guys are probably the most organized and together group that I have run into in many years. Keep it up! I
had a GREAT time on Saturday, and would gladly do it again. And the girls in my family, and their friends who attended, are still talking about it.
They are going to try to get a group together to go to a class with you.
